Meet the team - Futucare
Futucare is Futurice’s model for ensuring continuity, support and small feature development of in-production systems. It offers a 360 view to projects, technologies and architectural solutions developed by Futurice’s highly skilled teams in recent years. Our Futucare team provides high-quality continuous services to our clients, far above and beyond traditional reactive software maintenance. We have over 35 experts working with Futucare's services. This team is splitted into multiple smaller teams. Each team is responsible for a dedicated set of projects/accounts for which they do small feature development ensuring reliably running and continuously developing services. Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior full-stack Java developer, your responsibility is to create high-quality solutions that bring value in the areas our clients benefit the most and that way be part of creating long-lasting relationships with our clients. For example, we have worked on projects like the world’s first online service helping people make better choices, together with the City of Helsinki, which impact hundreds of thousands of citizens' daily life. We also have your very first project in mind in the field of early childhood education! With the City of Helsinki, we have created Asti service to make enrolling in early childhood education, pre-primary education and basic education easier. The project also offered an opportunity to improve the accessibility and equality of services offered by the Education Division. Asti helps implement the city’s strategy of becoming the world’s best and most equal place to learn. In this project you get to work with a large multidisciplinary team to build the service and maintain it together with the team.
