The challenge

Accountor Outsourcing, a company specializing in financial, payroll, and HR management services, needed a seamless, secure digital portal to manage sensitive client data and document transfers. The aim was to provide an intuitive, consolidated platform for communication, document exchange, and user management, supporting an agile rollout across several Nordic countries.

What we did

To tackle these challenges, we implemented the LiveOps+DevOps model to support Accountor Outsourcing in reimagining how they structure their development and production operations for improved results. Working closely with the client’s domain experts, our multidisciplinary team used agile methods and active communication to foster a dynamic development environment. The software development process utilized the scrum project management framework with a bi-weekly cadence to ensure the team was always solving the right problems and making headway toward the client’s primary goals.

We actively engaged with client feedback, challenged requests to ensure alignment with project goals, and proposed actionable solutions to drive efficiency. The quality of our collaboration and our team’s proactive approach exceeded client expectations.

Key features delivered for the portal included secure file transfer, user self-management capabilities, and continuous integration for seamless deployment.

The Futurice team took a very close and personal approach and were never afraid to share opinions and their reasoning. They were really thinking with us, like a client.

Why it matters

The portal we collaborated on is a client-centric solution that simplifies document sharing and access control. Clients can now manage their organization’s user rights, enabling faster and more autonomous access, improving their experience, and reducing customer service demands.

The project strengthens Accountor’s competitive edge and brand credibility by modernizing customer interactions through a unified portal.
