Like last year, Futurice is sponsoring UXcamp Europe, hosted in Berlin Germany. The event attracts over 1000 international participants and is amazingly free, if you can manage to snap up a ticket in the first few minutes of release.
For the first time Futurice will also be donating the creation of the first ever native mobile app for the event. It enables attendees to keep track of the dynamic schedule and see a venue map, as well as get updates about timetable changes, party locations and other important event information.
Futurice Internet of Things dream-team Paul Houghton and Ricardo Brito will be showcasing the new IoT Service Kit (as seen at ThingsCon 2015) in a hands-on workshop open to all attendees. They also produce The ThingCast podcast.
So if you were one of the lucky thousand to get a ticket, we'll see you at UXcamp Europe!
You can find the open-source skeleton code for the conference/festival app and the 3D models and material for the IoT Service Kit on GitHub. And make your own!
