Futurice <3 Cloud! We are looking for people in the various cloud and DevOps roles!
You will be working in a client-facing SRE / DevOps team together with ops-minded developers, and other cloud and DevOps engineers. As a team, your job is to work closely with the clients development teams. You build and maintain the clients cloud infrastructure and tools to support and accelerate development teams. You help development teams to build available, reliable, secure, and scalable services and speed up the process from idea to production. Together as a team, you make sure that the development teams have high autonomy and that their daily work runs smoothly in a cloud environment. You also solve the operations problems with code and automation and aim to continuously decrease the manual work needed ("toil") for the operations.
The SRE way of working is something we aim for, but depending on the teams and clients maturity that might be more of an end goal than the reality on day one.Based on your wishes and client needs, your daily work might be either more automating operations or helping development teams shine or both.
We are looking for a person that is fun to work with and has the "get things done" attitude. You are ready to utilize the best practices from DevOps and SRE thinking and you have the passion to automate work as much as possible.

To succeed in this role, you might have experience for example
technical understanding of public clouds, like AWS/Azure/GCP
containers and container orchestration
supporting and accelerating development and improving the developer experience
core DevOps concepts
Previous experience or knowledge on some of the following skills are seen as a plus
know-how about SRE core concepts like toil reduction, SLA/SLO/SLI, measure everything, anti-fragility, work sharing, deployment and performance & incident management. Practical SRE experience seen as a bonus
experience in cloud networking and security
experience in Kubernetes (on-premise or cloud managed)
experience in scripting and tooling
you have a developer background
In addition, we hope that you have awesome people skills and can communicate fluently in English.
