As a Cloud Developer, you get to build sophisticated services on top of flexible and battle-tested infrastructures!
In this role, it’s all about leveraging the tools that the Cloud provides to design and build functional, robust and maintainable services. You’ll find yourself at the intersection of Backend Engineering, Cloud Architecture and DevOps, getting your hands dirty with cloud-native technologies, taming complex data, processes and workflows. All the work we do is about helping and guiding our clients, so having a true consultant mindset and interest in supporting sales with Cloud topics is what we value dearly.
In our work as consultants, we give high fives to agile ways of working and the importance of transparency and trust in teamwork. As a Cloud Developer, you have talented professionals around you, such as other developers (across all parts of the stack), business strategy consultants, designers and of course our clients and their end-users. You will work with a variety of projects, domains and business cases potentially in the automotive, energy and health sector.
Here are some practical things that would definitely help succeeding in this job
Experience with cloud stacks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and familiarity with core concepts like serverless workloads, CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code.
Being right at home with designing and building elegant APIs, considering resilience and security aspects, as well as API consumer needs.
A DevOps mindset and a strong understanding that autonomy is fueled by trust and transparency. Practical experience with monitoring/alerting stacks is a plus.
Understanding the benefits and tradeoffs of different architecture paradigms (e.g. microservices and event-driven infrastructures) and technology choices.
Appreciation for good communication and quality advocacy with both our multidisciplinary teams and the clients.
The will to support our business development, guide our clients and shape the project design in pre-sales, sales and early project phases through technical insights and inspiration.

Mid-Level: 50,000 - 70,000EUR/year
Senior: 70,000 - 76,000 EUR/year
Your salary is attached to our transparent career path model. Once we have gotten to know you better, we are making an individual career-level-assessment, based on your skills, responsibilities and impact.
