Futurice <3 Cloud! We are looking for people in the various cloud and DevOps roles!
As there are as many senior consultant profiles as there are senior consultants, instead of trying to fit you in a very narrow box, we are happy to welcome different profiles.You might either have a strong cloud specialist background and be very proficient with some clouds or areas of expertise or you might have broader but more shallow experience but with a strong understanding of business. Your work might consist of 50-50% of internal work and working with clients, adjustable by the need and your wishes.
Here are some examples of the work you might be doing, depending on the clients’ needs and your personal preferences:
Guide clients through their cloud journey and solve complex and challenging client problems they might have during the journey
Translate business needs and requirements into solutions and technical design
Work as a project lead for migration, SRE or cloud ops projects
Facilitate discussions and workshops with clients
Work as a trusted cloud advisor for clients and open doors for future work
Participate in internal cloud, DevOps and SRE competence development work and share knowledge and best practices across team borders
Participate in sales cases as an expert
Offering development and participating in recruitment
As you will be working with a new managed services business, you should have understanding and the passion for operations. Especially, how to help enterprises to take advantage of agile, DevOps and SRE methods not only in digital service development but also in operations and thus ensure that all the business, IT and developers would be happy.
Previous experience or knowledge on some of the following skills are seen as a plus
know-how about DevOps and SRE core concepts like toil reduction, SLA/SLO/SLI, measure everything, anti-fragility, work sharing, deployment and performance management. Practical SRE experience seen as a bonus
experience in production operations, either hands-on or with a broader perspective
experience in multi-cloud management
experience of working in an enterprise environment on a broader scope than just one project or team
experience in changing development and operations culture in a bigger company
experience in Kubernetes (on-premise or cloud managed)
experience in security and compliance
experience in cloud landing zones and governance
In addition, we hope that you have awesome people skills and can communicate fluently in English.
