As a Futurice Client Lead
you’ll work alongside some of the world’s best consultants and professionals across software engineering, design and digital business. With your commercial mindset and commitment to building close, human customer relationships, together you’ll deliver outstanding impact and long-term value for our clients. You will work to become the most important trusted advisory for your clients. You’ll play a big role in the development of Futurice Stuttgart by finding, winning and delivering new and exciting projects.
We work with leading international corporations across all sectors, including automotive, financial services, insurance, energy, logistics, manufacturing and publishing. We help them to find new ways to change, prosper and succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.
This role consists of
sales and account development work for existing and new clients as well as overseeing projects and holistic responsibility for the health of accounts and the project team. The team is your biggest asset. You’ll also work as a project lead for agile development work and/or advisory/design assignments. When there’s an opportunity, you’ll enjoy getting involved as a hands-on consultant yourself.
We’re looking for
someone with several years’ experience in the German market. Maybe you’ve got a Master’s Degree in IT, Management, Software Production or Business. Or perhaps you’ve acquired equivalent skills elsewhere or in other ways. We’d be particularly interested in those with experience working with or around software development, design, data science or agile development work. It could be none of those things – tell us why you’re the right person. We’re listening.
Here are some of the things we’d expect of a strong candidate:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Committed, long-term and human approach to sales and account development
- Direct experience of the tech business world
- Some actual consultancy experience from tech/data/design
- Collaborative approach with sales, marketing and the wider office
- A healthy drive to build out business from existing accounts
- Ability to manage the pitching process
- An understanding of client briefings and how to qualify opportunities
- German language skills would be very helpful
- A learning mindset
We expect you to understand the tech landscape and what it takes to build digital services for demanding clients. Experience in leading projects is important too, either as a project lead/scrum master or as a product owner.
