As a Futurice Client and Agile Delivery Lead you’ll work alongside some of the world’s best consultants and professionals across software engineering, design, agile culture and digital business. With your commercial mindset and commitment to building close, human and trusted relationships with customers, you will be able deliver outstanding impact and long-term value for our clients with the team of best talents. You will work to become the most important trusted advisor for your clients.

You’ll play a big role in developing one of the biggest accounts of Futurice by pro-actively initiating, finding and winning new and exciting projects within the client. Furthermore, you are also leading the efforts of extending the strategic engagements within the client and positioning Futurice as a more strategic partner with the client.

We work with leading international corporations across all sectors, including manufacturing, forestry, building industry,energy, logistics, mobility, financial services, insurance and publishing. We help them to find new ways to transform, prosper and succeed in a rapidly changing business environment.

This role consists of proactive sales and account development work, mainly for one existing key client, as well as overseeing projects and holistic responsibility of the account and the project team(s). The team is always your biggest asset and there to support you in developing the relationship with the customer. You might also work as a project lead for agile development work and/or advisory/design assignments. When there’s an opportunity, you’ll enjoy getting involved as a hands-on consultant yourself.

We’re looking for someone with several years’ experience in the Finnish market. Maybe you’ve got a Master’s Degree in IT, Management, Software Production or Business. Or perhaps you’ve acquired equivalent skills elsewhere or in other ways. We’d be particularly interested in those with experience working with or around software development, design, data science or agile development work.

Here are some of the things we’d expect of a strong candidate:

  • Committed, long-term and human approach to sales and account development

  • Direct experience in the tech business world

  • Some actual consultancy experience within tech/data/design

  • Strong interest in how different companies make money (Biz models, etc.)

  • Collaborative approach with sales, marketing and the wider office

  • A healthy drive to build our business from existing accounts

  • Ability to manage the pitching process

  • An understanding of client briefings and how to qualify opportunities

  • Experience in leading (client) projects

  • A learning mindset

Some nice-to-haves:

  • Finnish language skills would be very helpful

  • Experience within some industrial domain / companies

  • Experience of C-level relationship management

One Nice-to-have would be excellent. Two would blow our minds. Three may bring us to tears. Your superpower is not on the list? Surprise and convince us!

We expect you to understand the tech landscape and what it takes to build digital platforms, products and services for demanding clients. Experience in leading projects is beneficial too, either as a project lead/scrum master or as a product owner. The most important experience for this role is creating and closing project opportunities by listening close to the clients’ problems and goals.
