Digital Transformation Lead

Digital Transformation Advisors at Futurice are generalists working across industries to help clients solve their important challenges in business and technology. They work with digital services, software development and improving how IT is done in big organizations. A Lead Advisor has a deep understanding of digital transformation as a sphere and can support our clients on managing the needed change on all levels related (business, technology, culture, process etc.).

As a Lead Advisor you’ll take a leading role in a talented team with diverse backgrounds and leave your mark on our growing and developing consulting competence as we expand on the continent and beyond.

Examples of what you’d be working with

  • Co-creating and executing a large digital transformation initiative for a Fortune 50 insurance company focusing on related cultural, process and technology change.

  • Co-creating and co-hosting workshops and trainings on lean service creation involving new technologies (IoT, AI, VR, AR, Blockchains, etc.) for various customers in different industries.

  • Consulting upper management and board members of successful startups on agile scaling, growth and lean organizational design.

  • Introducing and establishing lean agile change in a new initiative to digitally boost solutions for renewable energy.

Additionally, you will take a leadership role in building and shaping our advisory team and contributing to our unique Lean Service Creation methodology. Due to the exploratory nature of this role, you will also assist in business development, account management and sales related activities.

Your skills and experience

  • You have a lean mindset and a digital DNA but have also gathered some experience in large enterprises and understand their environment, challenges and processes.

  • Ability to communicate and work fluently across different levels in organizations, from C-level to product owners, enterprise architects and developers.

  • Background: 5+ years leading IT related projects in a large enterprise and 3+ years working in a lean and agile environment.

  • Education: a higher university degree in business, engineering, science, or industrial management.

  • Genuine interest in digital transformation as a new ecosystem and a strong interest in understanding how digital businesses are born, how they grow and how they also die.

  • Willingness to take a step in the abstraction level to solve organizational issues and drive towards results in big projects.

  • Good leadership skills in achieving momentum, action and results

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Fluency in English, and a readiness to travel. German is a big plus.
